New Year, New...Blog

Every year people set themselves new goals. Whether this is to drink more water, to join the gym or to travel the world, we often forget them by April. This is why I have decided to share my new years resolutions with you, in attempt for me to finally stick to them.

#1 - Start a blog
I've decided that this year I want to start a blog (and here it is). I often read other blogs and think to myself 'I'd love to be able to do something like this'. But i've always been too scared to start. What if it doesn't work? What if nobody reads it? But i've decided that none of that matters. If I like something, something interests me or I just have hundreds of thoughts bouncing around in my brain, I want to be able so share it :)

#2 - Stop eating meat
I won't bore anyone with the details of this, but it's something i've wanted to do for a long time, and this year... well this is the year I am attempting it! I'm only on day 6, but I feel so good about it.

#3 - Don't expect too much
If I don't expect too much of people, I wont feel disappointed. Simple.

#4 - Be more positive
This one is something that I think will really make this year a better one. As i'm not a very confident person, I often see my glass as half empty, as opposed to half full. I feel like if I just think of the positives I'll be more likely to do something and be happier in general :)

#5 - Do more in my spare time
This year I want to go out and do more when I have the time off work to do it. On a day that I have nothing planned I want to do something, even if it's just going for a walk and taking some pictures or my dog for a walk. I also want this to include starting a new hobby, like learning to play the guitar.
